We are seeking a talented and motivated Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating qualified leads, nurturing relationships with potential clients, and booking meetings for our Account Executives. Your primary focus will be on expanding our customer base and driving revenue growth.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Lead Generation: Conduct research and identify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media platforms, industry events, and other sources.
Outbound Prospecting: Engage in cold calling, email outreach, and other proactive methods to initiate conversations with prospects, with the aim of qualifying leads and generating interest in our products and services.
Qualification and Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand prospect requirements, challenges, and pain points. Determine if there is a strong fit between their needs and our offerings.
Book Meetings: Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations with interested prospects. Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of our solutions.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients by providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and building trust and rapport.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. Ensure timely follow-ups and effective pipeline management.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align efforts, share insights, and refine lead generation strategies. Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and shared goals.
Performance Tracking: Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline progress. Provide regular updates on your sales activities and progress towards targets.
THE ASSETS YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
Proven experience in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and cold calling.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and articulate value propositions effectively.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with CRM software and experience in maintaining accurate sales records.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A proactive mindset with a passion for technology and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Experience working in the Martech industry is a plus, but not required.
